The Floridian Motorsports Story
At 10 years old when Scott Osteen saw "Smokey and the Bandit' with his parents and brother, he instantly fell in love with cars and Semi trucks. As time went on, his passion has grown with cars and racing. Growing up in Rockledge, Fl., he attended numerous races with his dad at the Daytona International Speedway. In 2015, he attended a race with VIP passes at the Kentucky Motor Speedway and was introduced to the inside world of NASCAR. As time went on, he knew he wanted to be in the sport some day.

Over the next few years of going to races and meeting more and more insiders in the sport, he tried with numerous owners to be a financial partner but nothing seemed to be working out. So why not join a pit crew instead? In 2022, he got his first opportunities to not only pit crew in the Duels for The Money Team Racing with Kaz Grala but also for Our Motorsports with Jeb Burton in the Xfinity series, Halmar Friesen in the Craftsman Truck Series with Stewart Friesen then capping off the weekend in the Daytona 500 with Kaz Grala. As time went on, and his business schedule permitted, he helped out numerous other races throughout the 22′ and 23′ NASCAR season.
In January of 2024, Scott had an opportunity to buy a speedway truck and some engines and decided to go for it. With a short schedule to get the truck ready for Daytona, Floridian Motorsports missed out due to having no points to rely on but still had the 31st fastest truck out of 39 entries driven by Mason Maggio missing the race by 8/100th of a second. Floridian Motorsports made their debut the following weekend at Atlanta Motor speedway also with Mason Maggio.
